Take on the 5-a-day challenge!

As a school caterer we are passionate about educating pupils on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle, in a fun exciting way! This October we held our 5-A-Day event, where we challenged pupils to eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables, drink more water and do some exercise.

We served pasta and a hidden goodness dessert and every child who took part received a sticker and an activity booklet inviting them to take part in the 5-A-Day challenge.

If you haven’t seen the activity booklet yet or would like to try the challenge too, you can view it here.

For us all to lead a healthy lifestyle, it’s important that we eat a balanced diet, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly. We’re bombarded with conflicting information about what is and isn’t healthy almost every day, especially as parents, and it can be difficult to know how to keep your family healthy.

We’ve collated some resources to help make things simpler for parents to keep their families healthy.
