Cashless Solutions

The types of payment solutions which we use in our secondary schools and higher and further education establishments varies depending on the needs of the site. Each is approached on an individual basis – some opt to use a cashless system, whilst others prefer not to.

In sites where there are cashless systems in place, students can access their accounts at a point of sale terminal by presenting their card, or finger (in the case of biometrics) to the reader. The student’s photo appears on the screen along with the existing balance on their account. The account can be credited in multiple ways including the following:

  • Sending cheques or cash to the school/site office or catering team (depending on the arrangement at the site)
  • Topping up via a unit on site which accepts cash and notes

We can also enable daily spend limits and an overdraft facility, both of which are agreed by the leadership team at the school/site.

If you would like to know more about the specific payment methods on offer at a particular site, please visit our Contact Us page where you can provide us with the name of your school and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
