Food Service Director
Following an early career in the restaurant trade, Linda entered the school meals industry in 2002 where she managed a number of local authority contracts. She joined the School Food Trust in 2007 to support all of the Government’s work around school food standards and later took up the position as CEO when the organisation became a charity in 2013. As CEO she championed the charity’s work to help all children eat better, working closely with the Department for Education as an expert advisor on high profile policies including UIFSM and the Obesity Plan, and supporting the wider food industry to work collaboratively in their efforts to help families access healthier food. Voted as one of the public sector top 20 influencers for 3 years running, Linda also co-chaired the School Food Plan Alliance. Having now joined the ISS Education team as Food Service Director to head up the Food Development Team, Linda will support and enhance the continued growth and development of all our food and service offers
