Visit the links below to find out more about the Catering Mark Standards!
The Catering Mark provides excellent guidelines on food standards, which is why we base our menus on its principles. It provides an independent endorsement that food providers are taking steps to improve the food they serve, using fresh ingredients which are free from trans fats, harmful additives and GM, and better for animal welfare. The Soil Association, who run the scheme, regularly audit our accredited menus to ensure that they meet high standards of provenance and traceability, are freshly prepared using environmentally-sustainable and seasonal ingredients.
Food For Life Partnership
The Food for Life Partnership is a coalition of five national charities, who bring both expertise and years of experience of making lasting change. Led by the Soil Association, the partnership works with thousands of schools, helping them build knowledge and skills through a whole school approach, involving pupils, teachers, caterers, parents and the wider community to create a powerful voice for long-term change. Is your school already involved with the partnership? Find out here!
